Seminars@Hadley Presents: Woodworking Techniques- Selecting and Using Routers and Router Tables

Join us on Wednesday, August 20, at 2:00PM CDT, 19:00 GMT, as Seminars@Hadley presents the second in a series of seminars on safe woodworking techniques: Selecting and Using Routers and Router Tables. Routers are a safe and very effective woodworking tool when used properly. This seminar will give you the background you need to select and properly use the right router for you, determine if using a router table will make your projects better and organization ideas for your router bits and related tools.

Larry Martin of Woodworking For The Blind will share his experiences during this 60-minute seminar which will be moderated by Don Golembiewski, Director of Outreach at the Hadley School for the Blind. Time for questions and answers will be provided.

Technology requirements:

The Hadley School for the Blind is now using a new version of Talking Communities tcConference software for its popular Seminars@Hadley, interactive seminars on a variety of topics. If you wish to participate in this and all future Seminars@Hadley, you must install a new plug-in prior to the first login. To install the plug-in, follow the "Download and install the new plug-in" link on the "Registered Participants Login" page.

System requirements: Windows98, ME, 2K, XP or 2003 (XP recommended) system, Pentium 3 500 MHz or better CPU, 512 MB RAM, Internet Explorer 6, 7 or FireFox, JavaScript and cookies enabled in the browser, 56K or faster Internet connection (broadband recommended), full duplex audio device, speakers, and microphone (optional).

Note: A web-based conferencing client is available for Macintosh users (Adobe Flash Plug-In is required).
